SQP series, also marked as RX27‑3, are axial lead horizontal cement encapsulated wire‑wound power resistors developed and produced by Guangdong Qingda Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. The resistive alloy wire is wound on a ceramic core, placed inside a flame‑retardant ceramic shell and sealed with high‑temperature inorganic cement.
This RX27‑3 SQP cement resistor features stable resistance, excellent heat dissipation, high dielectric strength, vibration and moisture resistance. It is commonly used as dummy load, discharge resistor, current limiting and shunt resistor in power supplies, audio equipment, inverters, household appliances and industrial control systems. Construction
Alloy resistance wire is wound onto high heat resistant ceramic core. The winding assembly is inserted into a rigid ceramic case, then fully filled and sealed with thermostable inorganic cement compound. Tinned copper axial leads provide stable solderability for horizontal through‑hole PCB assembly. For high resistance versions, metal oxide film elements can replace wire winding.
