U type shunt resistor is a U-shaped metal alloy current shunt for DC current measurement. It works based on Ohm’s Law: when DC current flows through the shunt, a proportional millivolt voltage drop is generated across both ends, which can be collected for current detection and metering. Made of manganese copper alloy material, this U shape shunt features low temperature drift, stable resistance and excellent long-term stability. Simple U-type structure, easy installation and wiring.
